Going through some of the timeline of technological advancements was pretty informative. I liked learning about the technological advancements that we are pretty close to because Tim Harper was right about the rate of evolution of our technology. People have been clowning Apple for a while now about their level of innovation. They say that they copy stuff from Android and Google and do not even do it as good. They have also called Apple out for making tiny improvements to their products and selling them for more money. One example is Airpods:

We are already beginning to see some of the innovations that were listed in the Forbes article and the bit.ai blog post. Cryptocurrency and NFTs have a pretty big market place already. I see something about them everyday in prominent places. As the Forbes article noted, the pandemic has allowed scientists with a good reason for further research into certain aspects of biology for the vaccine. I feel like I have read a few places where they mention how research into the vaccine has opened doors to new possibilities.

I feel like it is a good thing to know what is coming so you can get the jump on it, especially if it is a field that you might be interested in or one that can change the world.
